- 1987
- Founded Ming Chang Precision Industry Co., Ltd. to make precision molds and mass-produce plastic parts for local and global clients.
- 1992
- Started our one-stop service, connecting 3D mold design, CNC processing, injection molding, and packaging.
- 1996
- Partnered with top tech companies like Simplo and Kinsun to set up a new factory in Dongguan, China.
- 2000
- Partnered with Luxshare and Kinsun to establish the Suzhou Plant.
- 2001
- Renamed to Dahorn Refining Co., Ltd. and started using the ERP system to manage production and quality.
- 2003
- Expanded our business into parts for cameras, optics, fan blades, bathroom fixtures, cars, and medical endoscopes.
- 2004
- Achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification and added advanced measuring microscopes for quality check.
- 2009
- Upgraded to ISO 9001:2008 certification to improve quality control.
- 2012
- Started a real-time Shop Floor Tracking (SFT) system to monitor production speed and machine efficiency.
- 2013
- Built a full one-stop factory including design, mold making, injection molding, post-processing (drilling/tapping), assembly, and laser printing.
- 2015–2016
- Joined government programs to train and improve our team's professional skills.
- 2017
- Upgraded to ISO 9001:2015 certification for higher quality standards.
- 2019
- Won the 18th Taiwan Quality Assurance Golden Medal as an outstanding precision mold factory..
- 2020
- Built a new measurement lab and brought in a CNC 3D CMM (Measuring Machine) for high-precision product inspection.
- 2021
- Passed the government TTQS certification for our high-standard team training system.
- 2023
- Added high-end CNC EDM machines with 24/7 automated operation to make molds faster and more precise.
- 2023
- Joined global ESG trends: added climate risks to our policy, started carbon tracking, and saved energy for a sustainable future.
